Cleaning the Gym

The gym must be kept clean for our own health and for our clients. We do not pay a service to come in and clean since the place is so small. We ask that the gym manager work with the trainers to assign daily and weekly tasks.

Each should be wiping down the equipment they use after each client. Cloths and cleaning sprays are probably in the storage closet.

Someone must clean the floors in gym, office, locker room, and hallway at the beginning or end of each day – never clean floors while clients are in the gym.

Logistics personnel from Leo Hamel Fine Jewelers will come weekly to clean the restrooms. Gym personnel should check the restrooms a few times a day to ensure there is no mess left behind by clients, make sure there is toilet paper, soap, and paper towels in the dispensers, etc. Extra supplies are kept in the storage closet.
